Kolkata restaurant offers special Poila Baisakh menu
Kolkata, Apr 4 (NITN) Kolkata’s Buddha Bites Restaurant is all set to provide its customers with a delightful array of Chinese platters on the occasion of Bengali new year- Poila Baisakh.

The food fest will start from Apr  10 and will continue till Apr 30.

The special menu includes dishes such as Duck with chilly plum, Duck with pineapple, Chilly butter Garlic Squid, BBQ Pork Sausage in Sizzler plate to name a few.

It is priced at INR 450 plus taxes for one person and is available at both its joints in the city.

Buddha Bites Restaurant also launched its official website today, www.buddhabites.in

The website was launched by veteran designer Sharbari Datta and Tollywood playback singer Lagnajita Chakraborty.

Datta lauded the concept and said, “The youngsters are into global cuisine today, they eat everything from Lebanese to Chinese. So I think this is a good idea.”

Speaking about the website Chaitali Ghosh, co-owner of Buddha Bites told IBNS: “It is a very user friendly website. The customers have several options regarding the payment and they can even make reservations online.”

When quizzed about his personal favourites Executive Chef Michael Ho said, “Duck with Pineapple and Crab Meat Ball in Shezwan sauce are amongst my favourites.”

Mister Ho also left a message for the customers: “Come and try our food because it’s different from the regular menu.”
