Bhagaban Chandra Patra’s 'In Search of God and Love' is a mesmerizing tale about the narrator’s life, his close family members, his village, which is very near to his heart, and the journey of his life.
Each chapter describes an important member or a significant event in the narrator’s life, which is great to read due to its motivational and positive touch.
The book is distributed over 33 chapters and the names of them are quite unique as well.
As the name suggests, the book is about searching for God and love, and craving to be united with the Almighty.
Whatever peace, happiness and comfort we want from life, are present with God and if we love him, we can be one with him.
There is a detailed description in each chapter and they are so nicely projected that you can imagine those in your mind.
The language is lucid and simple, which can be understood and perceived by every reader and the deep philosophical touch is worth cherishing.
In the book, the narrator has lost his greatest support system, his motivation, his father, long back and by the end, even he wishes to reach his father who resides in God’s heavenly abode.
He prays to the Almighty to grant his last wish and give him peace.
The book ends on an emotional yet philosophical note, which will remain etched in the minds of the readers for a long time.
We all wish to get united with the Omnipresent but how many wishes actually are fulfilled?
