Kolkata/IBNS: Adamas Howrah Warriors (AWH) edged out Rashmi Medinipur Wizards (RMW) in another cliff hanger in the Women’s edition of Sobisco Bengal Pro T20 League on Saturday.
AHW won the toss and opted to field and RMW notched up 117 for the loss of 2 wickets riding on Trishita Sarkar's 42 and Dyutit Pal’s 37.
Prativa Mandi and Susmita Ganguly picked up a wicket apiece for AHW.
AHW notched up the required runs losing 3 wickets but the chase stretched till the final over.
Dhara Gujjar scored 60 of 59 deliveries and Shrabani Paul supported her with 28 runs.
Preyasee Pandey and Zoya Laskar picked 1 wicket each and the bowlers failed to create any impact on the batters.
Dhara Gujjar was declared the Player of the Match.
