Hi, Anchal! First of all, congratulations on the release of "An Unimaginable Love". Is this your first book?
Thank you so much for the wishes. Yes, this is my first book.
What kind of readers are you hoping to reach out to through your book?
I just hope the book reaches out to all age groups. Especially, the youths of this generation, graduates, postgraduates and working professionals in and out of India.
Since when did you discover your interest towards becoming an author?
Well, this response will be quite wordy. Please do spend your few minutes to know about my journey of becoming an author:
A quote that has been inspiring me always is -
“If a drop of water falls in a lake there is no identity,
But, if it falls on a leaf it shines like a PEARL.
So, choose the BEST place where you can shine.”
Hence, it landed me in the world of writers which is indeed the best place I can never ever have dreamt for.
Although I was writing for the local newspaper when I was in 7th and 8th standard, however, this didn’t last long. I gave it a pause due to my class 10 board examination.
After a long break of five years, I again started writing a story in my free time, pondering that it might get published after a year. I was pursuing the third year of Engineering (Biotechnology) then.
As I became busy with projects, assignments, and placements, unfortunately, after writing a few chapters of the story I quit again. A frenetic job in a healthcare MNC compelled me to drop the dream of becoming a renowned writer.
The years passed by. It had been more than four years that i was working. I was following a hectic office schedule of more than nine hours a day.
Early this year, I came across the website ‘mycity4kids’, which is mainly based on parenting stories. I also found out many articles related to social issues, which we generally face in our day to day life.
After five years, I again thought of giving it a try, using my writing skills. I wrote the first article for this website.
My first blog on “A thoughtful letter to my brother’s future wife” was viewed by 63.3K readers with more than thousands of comments and shares. This encouraged me to write more and more. Therefore, I wrote sixteen articles till now and the most appreciated among those was- “ससुराल क्या है?” with 262.2K views and 15K likes.
With such appreciation and encouragement, I created my own blog in April 2017.
My blog was selected for “Bloggers Recognition Award” and was listed among the top among fifteen nominees from worldwide. One can also visit my blog for inspirational stories and articles related to social issues. All my articles have been praised by millions of readers from across the globe.
Looking at my writing skills, my husband encouraged me each day to write a book. I also thought of paying full attention towards my writing and this was a golden opportunity for me which might never return.
Being a full-time private employee, managing household chores, blogging and writing a book was not my cup of tea. Believe me, it’s not that easy. Somehow, I managed (Impossible becomes possible when life gives supportive and caring life-partner).
Eventually, I finished writing my first book in thirty-five days. Now I can proudly say that I had chosen ‘the best place where I can shine’.
Which genre of literature do you find the most appealing?
To be very frank, I am fond of romantic books and novels. Hence, love stories seem more appealing to me.
Have your friends gone through the book? What do they think about it?
Of course, my friends had read the book. It will be more interesting if I read our some of their reviews here:
"Amazing storyline.... Just can't stop me from re-reading it...."
"This book is one of the best of its kind.highly recommended.kudos to the author for such a lovely book."
"WOW......UNIQUE STORYLINE....JUST LOVED IT :)
RECOMMEND TO BUY ONE..."
"Awesome plot... captivating story...loved it"
Since your book is primarily a love story, what message does it convey to all young lovers out there?
The name of the book "An Unimaginable Love" itself reveals the extraordinary love between the two teenagers. This romantic story teaches to 'respect' the love, it shows that love is not a wastage of time. Patience and trust play an earnest role in this true love affair. And, the most important message it conveys to the young lovers is- being married in every love story is not the victorious ending, there is always a hidden achievement stored. True love never dies.
