Vana introduces wellness retreat in Dehradun

New Delhi, Jan 11 (NITN): Vana Retreats recently opened the doors to its first wellness retreat, Vana, Malsi Estate in Dehradun, to make a beacon of well being.
The 21-acre estate is set amidst clusters of ancient forest and orchards, the retreat merges into its surroundings, uniquely perched on a small plateau with Sal forest to the west, the hills of Mussoorie to the north and the bustling small town of Dehradun to the east.
Bringing together Ayurveda, Tibetan healing, yoga, natural healing, spa, fitness and aqua, the retreat provide many paths to reach one's wellness goals, said the company.
Other wellness spaces include three yoga studios and pavilions, an indoor and outdoor pool, heat and wet areas, a Watsu pool, and a state-of-the-art gymnasium.
The wellness team at Vana, Malsi Estate includes wellness consultants, Ayurvedic doctors, a Tibetan doctor, a TCM doctor, yoga practitioners, senior therapists,
specialist practitioners, fitness experts, naturopaths and a nutritionist.
Living spaces at Vana (69 rooms and 17 suites) comprises of garden & forest rooms, Bodhi suites, forest suites, the Esteva suite and the Vana Suite.
Moreover, the retreat has three restaurants as part of its cuisine offering, each with unique concepts that reflect its wellness and Ayurveda principles.
Veer Singh, Founder, Vana Retreats said, “Vana, Malsi Estate has been the result of almost five years of arduous work. Retreats at Vana are priced starting from Rs. 35,000 per night for a single guest or Rs. 50,000 for two guests sharing one of its forest rooms.
The minimum stay at Vana, Malsi Estate is three nights and guests must be over 16 years of age.
A retreat includes, daily treatments based on wellness level and objectives, the preference of the guest room/suite/villa, arrival and departure consultations, group wellness and retreat activities, use of heat and wet areas, all Vana wellness cuisine, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and beverages (does not include alcoholic beverages), airport transfers & taxes.
According to the officials, Vana is offering an introductory tariff till Aug 31, 2014 wherein a complimentary fourth all-inclusive night will be added to every three nights that are booked.
