At the busy Bürkliplatz in Zurich, a new joint has quietly become a pleasant place to pause. Arnold Kiosk has opened as an everyday meeting point for people passing through the square, whether they are commuters, locals, or visitors exploring the city.
Open daily, it serves breakfast, bowls, sausages, and snacks, with brunch added to the mix on weekends, making it easy to stop by at almost any time of day.
The kiosk brings a relaxed rhythm to Bürkliplatz. It works just as well for a quick bite between errands as it does for a slower lunch or a well-deserved aperitif. The focus is on food that feels comforting and uncomplicated, encouraging people to drop in briefly—or linger a little longer while watching city life unfold around them.
Arnold Kiosk is run by Keller’s, a family business with deep roots in Zurich’s culinary space, now adding a new address in the heart of the city. With this opening at Bürkliplatz, Keller’s extends its culinary presence from the lakeside into a more urban setting.

Though modest in size, the kiosk is more than a takeaway counter. It has been shaped as an open, welcoming meeting place for anyone who values good food, warm hospitality, and an easy-going atmosphere.
A strong culinary identity runs through the concept. Urs Keller, the well-known butcher and creator of the Wiedikerli sausage, brings his creative ideas to the menu, combining trusted classics with unexpected new elements. Laurence, the creative mind behind Keller’s, oversees the concept and organisation, ensuring that the eatery remains both thoughtful and practical in its approach.
Daily operations are handled by a committed and versatile team. While Denise contributes behind the scenes, refining details and adding fresh impulses, Yves plays a vital role, sharing his experience and supporting the overall development of the kiosk.
The menu stays simple and approachable - fresh Zwingli bread rolls, inventive sandwiches, warming soups, and vegan snacks prepared according to in-house recipes. As the day moves into evening, the kiosk takes on a different mood, transforming into a small aperitif spot, offering wines, local beers, and carefully chosen drinks. With views stretching between the lake and the buzz of Bürkliplatz, Arnold Kiosk fits naturally into Zurich’s everyday food scene—a small stop that adds warmth to a busy corner of the city.
