As the name suggests, EMBLAZON will act as an embellishment for these young aspirants. Aiming to be eastern India’s largest grooming workshop, the organizer of Emblazon, Kolkatamodels.com has secured top notch speakers to guide the participants.
Speakers include journalist from Reuters- Sujoy Dhar, ace clinical psychologist Dr Anuttama Banerjee, popular fashion designer Suchismita Dasgupta, communication specialist Bonnya Bose and supermodel Runa Laha.
The participants will also be visiting world class gym, state of the art wellness center and one of the best hospitals in the city as a part of the programme to get a first hand feel and in depth guidance from the experts.
Apratim Ghoshal, founder of Kolkatamodels.com said, “A good mark-sheet goes hand in hand with proper grooming. Often we see many people lacking in basic and social graces and etiquette. Their body language is not appropriate and in a way they feel embarrassed and shy in social and professional gatherings. Of course we cannot blame them; they never had got the opportunity to brush off their soft skills though have realized the need to present themselves in a much groomed way at the global platform! This time we are teaching just fifty of them but we plan to organize it on a much larger scale soon”.
He further added, “We are indeed happy with the response we are getting. This clearly indicates that people now understand their shortcomings and are ready to come out of their shell to learn these etiquette.”
With the motto, “You Aspire, We Inspire”, Emblazon will also serve as a platform to educate young talented minds from economically weaker section of the society.
“We believe all of us have certain social responsibilities. This time we have tied up with the leading news channel, Kolkata TV. Through their popular show, Shomipeshu Sikkhamontri, where students from economically weaker sections of the society appeal for their education expenses, we will be selecting two students who have scored well in Madhyamik or equivalent to join us in the workshop. We will also be sponsoring their education for higher secondary education for a year”, wraps up Ghoshal.
